How to Deal With the General Common Faults of Gyratory Screen?

If Screen body running abnormally such as Sieve unusual sports such as torsional oscillation occurs etc, mainly due to eccentric rotors installed improperly result in main axle bend or bearing damage. For these reasons, you can make the appropriate adjustments.

If mixing occurs, the mainly reason may be screen damaged or screen body seal is lax, Solutions is to replace the screen cloth or fill holes, check the seal strip.

If the output can’t meet the requirement, mainly reasons are multiple: such as the material moisture is too high, mesh blockage, mesh size does not meet the requirements, the belt speed ratio is too low or belt occurs slip, lack of feed rate, bouncing balls serious wear and tear. Solutions is to reduce material moisture, replace screen cloth or change the screen clear network system, check the pulley and adjust the belt tension, increase feed rate, replacing the bouncing ball.

     
When support frame fracture happens, mainly due to the support frame has usage cycle, long-term implants uniform or long-term bearing torsional stresses make itself flexibility failure, then result in fracture. Therefore, in the routine maintenance, you should pay more attention to the condition of the support frame, checked found and replaced promptly, if possible, you’d better replace all the support plate at the same time, and try to make every support plate force uniform, so as to make it consistent with the amplitude .

Daily Operation and Maintenance of Gyratory Screen

Gyratory screen (similar with Rotex screener) is a high precision standard of fine screening machine, which is mainly composed of screen box, driving device, screen frame, support and vibration damping device, gyratory screen structure is compact, it is mainly used in screening operation like chemical, food processing, refractory materials, building materials industries. 1. check if all the components are normal, whether the fasteners are loose or not, especially the vibration motor; 
2. in the process of operation, please stop the machine at once and inspect if any abnormal sound is found , don not put into operation unless eliminate the failure; 
3. it is an initial stage that motor running accumulated within 100 hours, during this period, please fasten the foundation bolt regularly; 
4. you can shut down the gyratory screen after confirming the material inside the screen is empty ,so as to avoid material blockage; 
5. check the screen and clear the screen mesh regularly, check tension condition of screen mesh and see if there is degree; 
6. after about 200 hours of operation, please lubricate the vibration motor bearing, add lubricating oil inside the bearings, the grade is 1# calcium base grease.

Maintenance Notes for Circular Vibrating Screen

1. Always keep the circular vibrating screen working in a clean and sanitary environment.
2. The bearing on both ends of the motor should be lubricated with anti- high temperature lubricating grease, in the first month, please lubricate once a week .
3. Check flange bolts on both sides of motor, the bolts which fix the mesh and the support connecting bolt shouldn’t have loose phenomenon.
4. The circular vibrating screen should be maintained every half year.
A. clean the vibrator and add grease for all lubricating points.
B. check the abrasion condition of screen mesh, if any damage , please maintain and replace timely.

 5. The circular vibrating screen should be maintained and repaired every year. 
A. Open the motor terminal box ,check the insulation between the wires and clean the dust.
B. Add grease on all lubricating points.
C. check each part of the circular vibrating screen and abrasion condition of screen mesh, if any damage please maintain and replace timely.
E. After finishing all the work, a trial run is also required.
