The Reasons for Vibrating Screen Material Accumulation

During use, the vibrating screen surface may occurs the material accumulation phenomenon. So what causes the accumulation of material is it, here PK Machinery engineer based on years of experience in analysis of what can be attributed to four issues:
1.Make sure whether the vibrating screen mesh choice has problems or not, sieve mesh network is too small will cause low permeability material.
2.Check the placement of vibrating screen ground whether is flat, spout material will affect the operation of high trajectory, causing the material to one side.

3.Screen mesh and the discharge port whether is horizontal or is too high, under normal circumstances should be level or higher than about 6mm, depending on the material discharge port design are not the same height.
4.Vibration motor angular adjustment if there are problems, improperly adjusted the angle of the vibration motor can also cause material accumulation phenomenon, the smaller the angle on the screen surface material spread outward run faster, whereas angular displacement of the General Assembly so that bulk material outward open slow. If you are under strict requirements for screening accuracy, the motor angle should not be too small, so as not to affect the accuracy of screening, in general, the factory motor shaker angle of 45 °, the user can also special screening process based on its material requirements will adjust the vibration motor angle to 100 °, the mesh material is centralized.

What is the Applicable Material for Drum Screen

Drum screen is a kind of cylinder revolving screening machinery that relies on gravity, its working principle is different with rotary vibrating sievelinear vibrating screen, drum screen can generate strong exciting force, so if dealing with the proportion of lighter materials, it is not suitable for drum screen, the screen is easy to get blocked due to the irregular shape material, and the most important is the screening effect is bad, so what is the applicable material for drum screen?

Drum screen also is often used in mining, sand ,gravel industries, common screen mesh size can be larger than 5 mm, the smallest mesh size should larger than 3 mm, if the mesh size is smaller that is the wire mesh is small ,the service life will be shorter, besides, the drum screen doesn’t do a good job for on sieving fine material and the sieving efficiency is not very good.

Except for sandstone, drum screen is also more commonly used for granular material screening, such as: chemical fertilizer, ceramsite and so on. The sieving efficiency is good and easy to handle large-scale capacity.

Dewatering Screen for coal industry

Dewatering screens have a wide variety of application including dewatering, desliming, degritting, rinsing, scrubbing and washing. It is made up of screen cloth, vibration exciter, supporting system and motor. Materials such as sand, gravel, crushed aggregates, frac sand, industrial sands, mineral sands, hard rock, precious metals, coal, iron ore, salt and other granular materials which can be processed through a dewatering screen.


Working principle:
      To dewater material effectively, damp material is feed onto a steep, downward inclined screen surface at the feed end of the Dewatering Screen to achieve rapid drainage. A pool of water begins to form in the valley as material builds up on the slightly upward inclined surface. Counter rotating motors create a linear motion, driving solids uphill, while liquid drains through the screen media. The uphill slope of the screen, along with a discharge weir, creates a deep bed that acts as a filter medium, allowing retention of material much finer than the screen openings.
      When the two vibrating motor that installed vertically on the coal dewatering screen rotate relatively, the eccentric block of two vibrating motors produce rated excitation force. The horizontal excitation force cancel each other out, the vertical excitation force is transported to the whole screen surface through the body mass vibration.
